Introduction

Acil Collective is a London-based jewellery brand inspired by my heritage, my desire to integrate cultural elements into my wardrobe and my interest in showcasing forms inspired by traditional Kazakh ornaments to the wider world.

Our jewellery reinterpret motifs that have been passed down through generations through a contemporary lens. These ornaments would traditionally be associated with protection, prosperity, strength and good fortune. On that same note I even think the ring recalls armour in a delicate, feminine and empowering way. Each design takes elements of this visual language and transforms them into jewellery made to be worn every day. 

These are incredibly personal to me. Even though I grew up in London, Almaty has always had a special place in my heart. This ring reminds me of my other home. Even when I'm far away, I carry a piece of it with me
